Dance - UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA





Delineation 

The Department of Geography at the University of Alabama was set up in 1903. The division consolidates 12 tenured or residency track work force, two fulltime instructors, three master staff people, three full-time authorities, and two administrative pros. Departmental teaching and analyze interests compass the control and the globe. The workplace supports an empowering and synergistic environment where open entryways for revelation multiply. Staff includes biogeographers, a cartographer, climatologists, a geomorphologist, GIS and remote distinguishing masters, human geographers, and coordinators. The workplace offers B.A. besides, B.S. degrees in Geography with centers in Environment and Natural Resources, Regional and Urban Planning, Geographic Information Techniques, and Human Geography. Likewise, the workplace offers minors in Geography and GIS, and supports in GIS and Urban and Regional Planning. Included within the division are the GIS and Remote Sensing Laboratory, Cartographic Research Laboratory, and the University Map Library.
